Keratosis pilaris - Mayo Clinic
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/keratosis-pilaris/DS00769
Keratosis pilaris is a common skin disorder. It's not serious. But it can be frustrating because it's difficult to treat. The disorder results from a buildup of keratin, a protein, in the opening of the hair follicles in the skin.
